Well, the Xbox has been a great friend of mine for quiet awhile. Even though the next generation (Xbox 360) is out, and been out for awhile, I find myself still playing with my Original Xbox. The Xbox is not only a great game counsel but a dream for modders. I myself have modded it like crazy, from putting XDSL on it to putting over 5 different versions of the all time famous game Halo 2.

Now, even tho is been out for a ling time, and modded for almost as long, not many people can easily find what they need for it. So thats what this post is, a post to get the stuff you need for your modded xbox. I’m not telling you how to mod it though. If you want to learn how to do that go to Xbox Scene and explore there tutorials.

This short, and let my emphasis the word short, guide is just to let you know the quickest easiest way to get files, such as applications, for your Modded Xbox.

First, get yourself a IRC program, and a FTP program. I use mIRC and FlashFX. After you have them (or similar programs) continue

Choose EFNet for (IRC Network) and type “/join #xbins” then type “/msg xbins !list”

Open the window labeled “xbinx” on your IRC client and read the information. Then open up your FTP client and pu in the information from “xbins”. Now you can explore all the files on their server, and download what you need/want. Just remember to follow the limits it said in the IRC channel.
