Ok, I have been on the search for the best OS. I used windows (and still am) for a long time. And lately I have been sneaking in some time with Linux. I tried several Live CD’s (mandriva, red hat, and now ubuntu) and I now have Ubuntu Feisty Fawn installed dual with XP. There are good and bads

Good things are the fact that it looks way better then XP. I love the layout of my desktop and all of that. Plus it uses my computers resources alot better, and doesn’t freeze up while doing stuff. The bad thing though is the learning curve. I am continuously learning something new not by choce but force. I had trouble getting WLAN working, and it took me 2 days to figure out. And I just now figured out how to get my MP3’s to play.

I think after a month or two I should like it as much as Windows XP…I will still be using XP for things like games and letting others use my laptop (and prob torrents) but I hope to one day me a all Linux User
