Well, since the last two days were really active and busy, I did not get time to actually write on those days on my experience. Here is a quick post on what went on.
Day 4: We covered the actual selling part of the training…and you know what, it was the shorted part. This is why I like my job. Sure, I work in retail, and when you pick it apart I am a sale’s person. But, unlike a lot, I am not pushing someone to buy something. Pretty much everyone I talk to is coming in to get it already. And, since I am not commission or anything, I really could care less what you get. Accept, I do care…I don’t want you to take home something, come back, and complain that I actually let you get something like that. I want you to be happy. I love technology with a passion, bordering obsession…and I kind of want you to feel the same, even if it is only one piece of technology.
After class we all chilled out by the pool, relaxed, asked each other induction questions as a bit of studying, and then went and got some food. While we ate, we talked more, a bit on the classes, and everything else that came to mind. It was the last full day that we all got to spend time with each other, since day 5 was our last day.
After food, and boy was it good, a few of us chilled out in the hot tub for some more studying, and then went back to one of the hotel rooms for…guess what, more studying. Day 5 was also to be the test day, we all wanted to be prepared.
Day 5: The first half of class we went over the final stage of the training, which is to actually set the client up with everything. We want you to know how to do everything you want to do, make sure it all works, and that when you walk out the doors you can call your friend, send him a text, facebook…whatever your into. We ate a quick lunch, and then took the test. I did very well. Then went over some final things. And were let go…
For the remainder of the day we were constantly saying good by…At the hotel…first airport and restaurant there…Some of us has the same first connecting flight, so got to spend a bit more time…then some more byes, then one last flight for me, all alone.
Writing this out it kinda sucks…I wish I could have spent more time with pretty much everyone. It’s amazing how a simple week we can get to be so comfortable with everyone, and become friends. I’m not saying anything like best or whatnot, but I really did enjoy the time I spend with everyone.
I am not at home, its the next day…you could say day 6 I guess, since really, I have been spending the whole day thinking on the past week…The classes, activities, what I need to do at work when I go in today with my papers…and the people.
